Capturing the Glow at Golden Gardens
It’s my favorite time of year!
The light is glowing. The air is crisper with each day. We’ve partied our hearts out this summer. Now it’s time to snuggle up with a warm bevvy and a cozy blanket on the sofa and watch the leaves change to a vibrant new version of themselves. The oranges, reds, and yellows create the most beautiful background for your family photos.
I have five awesome options for your fall family pictures.
1 - Apple Orchard
Spend 40 minutes picking the most delicious apples with your cute fam, snuggling close and cherishing every moment with them. Take home a bag of apples to bake into a pie or just eat with some cheese and crackers for movie night.
2 - Pumpkin Farm
A classic fall scene - picking out your pumpkin at the pumpkin farm. Grab some seasonal drinks and an apple cider donut while you make timeless memories with your family.
3 - Swansons
A modern twist on an old fav. Swanson’s has the most beautiful selection of pumpkins and gourds that will be lovely in your home.
4 - Fall Beach
My most popular fall mini session offering by far! My Seattle families LOVE golden gardens and regularly build beautiful memories there. From digging in the sand to watching the sunset over the water, it’s a lovely spot for wonderful family memories and photos.
5. Fall Traditions
If you love getting your family photos at home - these are for you! I pop by each home for 45 minutes and document families doing their favorite fall traditions together. From carving pumpkins to decorating your front porch with spider webs, this is a fun time for all!
Love, your photographer

What if mini sessions were like short stories? An activity that brought your family together, spending time engaging with one another, unplugged, and focused on the people you love most. Ignoring the camera and just allowing your life to be documented.
Hang out with your family while you spend some time at the beach. Bring a picnic, spend time with one another, and soak in the beauty of a classic PNW landscape as we document your family and your beautiful life together!
Seasonal beach mini sessions have quickly become my most popular lifestyle mini session offerings in Seattle.
The beach creates a wonderful backdrop for your family pictures.
I love this family. They are one of my brand new fams who I fell in love with the very first second we were together. They have told me time and time again that they loved their session at Golden Gardens.
Why did they love it??
Golden Gardens Beach is iconic - ask anyone in the Seattle area for recommendations on a great beach for the fam and this is top of the list.
Golden Gardens is gorgeous - expansive views, the Olympics in the background, trees, nature, and refreshing PNW weather. What more could you ask for?!
I’ve been offering holiday traditions sessions in November and December, documenting my families doing the special traditions that they love most, together. Baking cookies, decorating their Christmas tree, caroling, any memory-filled event that is special and important to them.
I’ve been toying with the idea for a while to offer these in the fall as well. Families can put on their costumes, decorate their porch for Halloween, carve their pumpkins… the sky is the limit!
Golden Gardens is a magical place.
And I love taking photos of my families there. Not only is the landscape beautiful, but it is a local park that is a meaningful memory-filled place for many of my clients.

People are always asking me about mini sessions. I get it. Your kids are growing like weeds. Your life is busier than you ever thought possible. And maybe that day in the life session that your heart is longing for, just always seems slightly out of budget.
