Lifestyle and Documentary Family Tree Farm Mini Sessions
Details.
Every time I photograph your family, I will look for details that help tell the story of your day. This helps tell a cohesive story of your time together as a family. Details are a great way to show those fleeting moments of childhood in, well, more detail.
From the messy topknot on your child’s head to the tiny toddler hands grabbing for pine needles, I want to document it all, so that you can relive those precious memories over and over for a lifetime.
So, let’s meet up this summer, at your family’s favorite holiday hang spot. Whether it’s your backyard, the beach, or picking out your perfect Christmas tree. I wanna photograph your family doing life together, making real-life family portraits of meaningful moments and expressions of love between you and those people you love most!
Love your photographer

Let's talk about Trinity Tree Farm for a second, because if you've been to a session with me out there, you already know - this place is an absolute blast to photograph. Tucked up on a hilltop in Issaquah with views out toward Mount Rainier on a clear day, it's easily my favorite spot for tree farm minis, and honestly, one of my favorite places to just hang out for an afternoon in general.
Here's what makes sessions at Trinity so much fun.
Okay, I have to talk about tree farm minis for a sec because they might just be the coziest sessions I shoot all year. There's something about a tree farm in the winter - the rows of pines, the crisp air, that whole "we're about to pick out a Christmas tree" energy - that makes for some of my favorite family photos.
There’s something undeniably magical about the holiday season—the crisp air, the festive lights, and the joy of spending time with loved ones. Now imagine capturing all of that in one perfect setting: a tree farm. That’s exactly why tree farm mini sessions have become one of my favorite traditions each year.

If you’ve never been to Swansons during the holidays, let me just say: you’re missing out. It’s a local gem that truly shines this time of year. The smell of fresh pine, the sparkling decor, and the festive energy make it one of the most magical places to capture your family’s holiday spirit. Plus, let’s not forget how much fun it is to just wander through the nursery and soak in the vibes. (Pro tip: schedule some time to pick up a wreath or grab a hot drink after your session—you’ll thank me later.)

There's something truly special about getting family photographs taken at a tree farm during the holiday season. The natural beauty of the trees, the crisp, fresh air, and the cozy atmosphere all combine to create the perfect setting for capturing memories with your loved ones.

Every time I photograph your family, I will take portraits of your family. This helps tell a cohesive story of your time together as a family. Portraits are a great way to show the details of your children’s faces and show their personalities through their expressions.
