I often have families ask me, can we do a seasonal session for our newborn shoot?
The answer is YES!
I do love a family shoot where we are in your home or backyard, living your regular daily life while loving on your new tiny human. These are such beautiful newborn sessions and I will always be a huge fan.
But who is to say that your daily life can’t be at the beach? Running through the sand with your doggies, cooling your feet off in the water with your partner, or digging in the sand with your kid… these are all REAL moments that represent your REAL LIFE!!
The thing I tell my families when they are trying to select the best session type for them is to imagine the setting they are drawn to the most.
Are you a fan of the beach or do you prefer slow days at home? What do you feel represents you and your family the most?
The second thing I ask is, how much energy do you have?
If you are feeling like you wanna chill, let’s just pick a spot that is the closest to you. That might be the beach, it might be the blueberry farm, or your backyard might be the best fit!
Whatever your pick, it will be heartwarming and beautiful! Both the memories and the photos. And I can’t freaking wait to document it!!
