Seattle is a beautiful city full of amazing Cherry Blossom trees. Every year, people from all over the world come to see the stunning flowers in bloom. If you're planning a trip to Seattle to see the Cherry Blossoms, here are the 7 best places to enjoy them.
Washington Park Arboretum - The Arboretum is a beautiful place to see cherry blossoms, with over 200 varieties of trees blooming throughout the spring. This is my favorite location for spring mini sessions! So many gorgeous trees and trails to enjoy with your favorites.
Seattle Japanese Garden - The Japanese Garden is a stunning oasis in the city, and the cherry blossoms are just one of the many reasons to visit. The garden is located in the heart of the Washington Park Arboretum. You can enjoy this lovely spot before or after your mini session with me — make a day of it!
Ballard Cherry Blossom Festival - This annual festival celebrates cherry blossoms with live music, food trucks, and family-friendly activities.
Green Lake Park - Green Lake is a popular spot for all sorts of activities, and cherry blossom viewing is no exception.
Volunteer Park - Volunteer Park is one of my favorite places to photograph my sweet fams! There is a gorgeous greenhouse that creates an unexpected, clean minimalist background to your photos. If you’re looking for a location for your spring session that provides multiple background options, this is a great one!
UW Quad - if you love brick buildings as a backdrop to your spring blooms, this is a fun one! However, be prepared for crowds and come with your patience for parking. It’s a beloved Seattle event, particularly on a sunny spring day.
Your neighborhood! - That’s right, there are so many gorgeous cherry blossoms blooming throughout neighborhoods all across the city!
