blueberry farm mini sessions

Blueberry farm mini sessions are a SOLID FAV.

Both for my clients and for me.

Let’s start with the location. Rusty Plow Farm in Enumclaw, WA is a dream, my friends. It is a family owned gorgeous blueberry farm with expansive views and the most delicious blueberries you ever did pick. Sue and Dave are the most delightful people and they will make sure you have THE BEST time on your visit. They don’t even mind if you sample a few blueberries while you’re picking.

Which can be a quite helpful stress reliever since you just know your kids are gonna do that anyway!

Kids running free, snacking on blueberries, living their best lives at the farm. Doesn’t that sound grand?!

I can assure you, it is.

Not only will you go home with a healthy portion of blueberries for the whole family, but you will also have REAL, honest photos of your family time, living the good life with the people you love most.

As a documentary family photographer, I focus mainly on candid, real life moments.  I will take a handful of unposed, lifestyle portraits, but most of your time will be spent just being you, and allowing the family fun unfold.

Seasonal mini sessions are a great way to get a handful of pictures throughout different stages of the year. I have quite a few clients who sign up for 2-3 mini sessions over the course of each year to get photos of their children in each season.

This can also make for a really great album for the grandparents, or for yourself at the end of each year!

I am very strategic with this set of 10 photos. I make sure to get a portrait of your family, some candid shots of each child and at least one detail, so you can easily remember those little bits on your kid that are always changing. Dimpled fingers reaching out for blueberries on the bush, tiny tic tac teeth biting into a huge blueberry, little baby toes caked in blueberry juice.

Having time together as a family in a beautiful place like Rusty Plow Farm enables me to make quick, but intentional pictures that are meaningful and full of life for your family.

So meet me at the barn and grab a bucket. Let's eat some yummy blueberries and make beautiful photos!!

Love, your photographer
