mini session stories // brother and sister pick out pumpkins black and white

Sometimes, when I photograph your family, there is a story within a story.

Yes, we have the main objective of photographing your entire family’s experience at the pumpkin farm. We get portraits of each kid, the parents, a fun, happy portrait of the whole family. But there are also little stories that are woven throughout the larger story of your day. The way your daughter must inspect every inch of the pumpkin before putting it in the wheelbarrow, or how your son falls in love with one single pumpkin and carries it with him, close to his heart the entire time.

For these two, it was all about the collecting, the stacking, and the relocating of the pumpkins. They did this the whole time, and they did it together.

Wanna guess the first thing their mom said when she saw these piles?

“One pumpkin each.”

Hahaha, I’m pretty sure they thought if they make it in the wheelbarrow, they make it home!!

I would love to photograph your family at the pumpkin farm (blueberry farm, tree farm, or any of my other specially designed documentary family mini sessions) and document each and every story of your day.

Love your photographer

Anna
