blueberry farm mini sessions are more than just pictures // black and white

This family enjoys the beautiful blueberry farm together, picking more berries than their baskets can hold, having nearly more fun and laughter than their hearts can hold.

This family. Oh how I love them so. We have the best time together. I’ve done so many pictures for them over the years. Some of my favorites.

My sweet friend, Chelsie has been in my life since we were kids. And now our kids are growing up together too. It’s a beautiful thing.

I really love to push myself to make artful portraits that are slightly abstract and quirky (this is when I get to follow my heart). The picture above is one of those. I loved how the shadow of the branch from the blueberry bush made a flower crown on her head.

These are the things I see as a photographer and as an artist.

I make sure to take care of all the photos you want and need. A family portrait, candid photos, details. Once I’ve secured those shots, I get to play. Artistically. It’s quite a lot to attempt in 40 minutes. But this girl LOVES a good challenge.

My mini sessions are more than just pictures. They are a family date. An adventure with the people you love most. You just get to leave with a flat of super tasty blueberries and a bunch of beautiful, honest photos of your family to prove it! Bringing you back to that gorgeous afternoon every dang time you look at them.

We thought this picture was super funny because his name is actually Kyle.

Thank you, Dofelmier family, for trusting me to document your growing children from birth to all the things. I could never adequately express how much that means to me.

Love, your photographer
