Sometimes, when I photograph your family, there is a story within a story.
Yes, we have the main objective of photographing your entire family’s experience in your backyard during the summer. We get portraits of each kid, the parents, and a fun, happy portrait of the whole family. But there are also little stories that are woven throughout the larger story of your day. Like the way your teen daughters play with their cousin in the yard they grew up in. Picking flowers, placing them gently in each other’s hair, as one playfully pushes her sister away by the face.
These are moments that just can’t be scripted. This is your family in all its glory, just being yourselves in your favorite place on the planet. Home.
