There’s something magical about Discovery Park in the fall. The golden grasses, the soft autumn light, and the backdrop of Puget Sound all come together to create the perfect setting for capturing your family’s story. My Discovery Park fall mini sessions this year were such a dream, and I couldn’t be more grateful to the families who joined me to make this season so special.

Discovery Park is one of my favorite locations in Seattle for family photography, and it’s easy to see why. It offers such a variety of natural backdrops—rolling meadows, tall trees, and those iconic views of the water. There’s so much space for kids to run and play, which makes capturing those candid, joy-filled moments feel completely effortless. Whether it’s a quiet hug in the middle of a grassy field or kids running wild on the trails, Discovery Park has this way of making everything feel authentic and relaxed.

This season, my fall mini sessions were filled with laughter, leaf-throwing, and lots of love. Families showed up in cozy sweaters and boots, ready to embrace the season and make some memories. I worked my magic, blending a mix of natural, lifestyle portraits with candid moments that just unfold naturally. These sessions were quick but so full of heart, capturing everything from sibling giggles to tender moments between parents.
