2021 documentary style seasonal mini sessions // black and white

Another year is behind us and photography season is on the horizon. Once again, I find myself looking through the photos I took of your wonderful families last year with a giant smile on my face.

I love capturing the essence of my families through photographs.

I can’t wait to do it all again in 2021!!

People were always asking me about mini sessions.

Your kids are growing like weeds. Your life is busier than you ever thought possible. You see the value in getting photos taken, but you want to cut out the fuss and get a quick session checked off your to-do list.

I totally get it. In fact, I get it so much that I’ve built my business around it. Mini Sessions are my jam.

I love being able to make my sessions accessible to all families and keep my photography affordable.

For this reason, last year, I chose to rebrand as a mini-session photographer. This has always been an objective to me. I have always believed that my clients should be able to get photos taken of their family AT LEAST once a year, maybe more! My mini sessions allow for this to happen. They are low maintenance, fun, and super easy!

Picking giant, juicy apples from the trees, running through the fields covered in pumpkins, searching for the perfect one to take home and carve. At the tree farm, arguing over which tree will actually fit in your living room. (Why do they always look so small on the farm?? - we are constantly trimming our trunk to make it fit). Breaking the needles in half to smell the freshness of the pine. Cutting down the trunk with an old school saw, while your daughter helps, her little hand on yours, back and forth, back and forth until the tree falls and you carry it as a family back to your car.

This is THE GOOD STUFF!

The mini stories that fill the pages of your book called LIFE.

Similar to a longer session in the sense that we are making pictures of family time, but in a shorter window. Just one activity rather than your whole day. Of course, I would love nothing more than to document your Family at home, covered in flour, baking a pie with those juicy fresh picked blueberries. But we can save that for another day.

Love, your photographer

Anna
