slow summer mornings

Truth be told, this wasn’t even a shoot. This is just what happens when people invite me to stay with them for the night. Friends beware. 

I just can’t help it. When beautiful moments happen in your life, and I’m standing right there, I feel compelled to capture it. It’s an addiction, really. 

When there is amazing light, your kid is being cute, and my phone is the only camera within reach, I still shoot. (iPhone image above).

I recently spent the weekend in Spokane, visiting some of my best gals. I love watching my friends become moms. It’s such a gift to witness them navigate this new season of life and learn from each other as we grow. For example, how to hold baby and make coffee simultaneously.
