mini session stories // beach day with mom
This cute fam was missing a family member for this photo session. Dad had been injured and wasn’t able to make it. Rather than canceling, this momma decided to embrace it as a session for her and her girls. It was magical!
The sun showed up for us! The connection between this mom and her girls was so wonderful to witness and photograph. Aren’t they just lovely?!
Sometimes, photo day doesn’t go as planned. Kids often decide to skip a nap, traffic derails your plan to be early, you couldn’t find your favorite shirt in your closet, and the list goes on. I pride myself on making every photo session as fun and comfortable as possible and saying a big “get outta here” to perfection. Because
real is the new perfect.
And I would argue that this photo shoot with mom and her daughters turned out even better than any of us could have planned!
I would love to meet your family at the beach for some family (or mother daughter) photos! Let’s make some magic!
Love your photographer,
Anna
The nursery is BEAUTIFUL - from the lights to the greenery, there are so many lovely spots to take wonderful family photos.
There are so many things to do! Grab a warm beverage, check out the Christmas train, pick out your wreath or tree, and best of all, hang with your favorite people on the planet.
Holiday mini sessions at the Tree Farm are so fun. I loooove hanging out with families and taking real-life, meaningful photos of their time together.
It’s a great place for you to visit with your family, let in all the beauty of the nature surrounding you and JUST RELAX for your family pictures!!
Every time I photograph your family, I will look for details that help tell the story of your day. This helps tell a cohesive story of your time together as a family. Details are a great way to show those fleeting moments of childhood in, well, more detail.
From the smashed strawberry in your baby’s hands to the mud between your big kid’s toes, I want to document it all, so that you can relive those precious memories over and over for a lifetime.
Every time I photograph your family, I will take portraits of your family. This helps tell a cohesive story of your time together as a family. Portraits are a great way to show the details of your children’s faces and show their personalities through their expressions.
Bluberry farm mini sessions are a SOLID FAV.
Both for my clients and for me.
Let’s start with the location. Rusty Plow Farm in Enumclaw, WA is a dream, my friends. It is a family owned gorgeous blueberry farm with expansive views and the most delicious blueberries you ever did pick. Sue and Dave are the most delightful people and they will make sure you have THE BEST time on your visit. They don’t even mind if you sample a few blueberries while you’re picking.
Golden Gardens is more than just a beach—it's a picturesque paradise nestled along the shores of Puget Sound. With its sandy beaches, lush greenery, and stunning views, Golden Gardens provides the perfect backdrop for capturing cherished memories with your loved ones.
So many families tell me blueberries are their baby’s favorite food.
I LIVE FOR THIS!!
Choosing photo shoots that are meaningful to your family are paramount to getting real life, authentic lifestyle, and documentary family portraits.
Well, hello my friends! Here I am again, in February, dreaming of the day when I get to be in the summer sunshine with you, photographing your sweet fams. It’s what gets me through the rainy Seattle winter, folks.
Hey there, it's Anna! I hope you're as excited as I am for spring mini sessions! As the weather starts to warm up and the flowers start to bloom, there's no better time to capture beautiful memories with your loved ones.
Sounds pretty magic, right? Well, it is. For so many reasons.
I am all about REAL family photos. Documenting your family, living your best life TOGETHER.
