I don’t know about you, but the year 2020/21 has me CRAVING any outdoor time I possibly can grab hold of.

I am an extreme extrovert and a busy bee. I love staying busy with work, creating my art, and being with people. Family, clients, the baristas down the street, the pupper on my morning walk, basically any and all living beings. I am a social nugget and I have always been.

This year looked so different. Less connecting with people left space for me to connect with nature. I know I know, this sounds like a super cheese fest, but hear me out. I know people who love nature through and through. Who just go outside, breathe the fresh air and suddenly they have new life. If I’m being honest, I’ve always admired it, but never really got it. Until now.

In the past, if you were to ask me what I love to connect with, what gives me life, my answer would have been people and probably tv.

WHICH IS STILL TRUE.

But a year plus of quarantine has me breathing new life in from all kinds of sources. Looking for the good. Finding what fuels me from all corners of my day. One of the purest joys in my life this year has been sitting on my deck, listening to the birds chat with each other while perched in my trees.

I guess what I’m saying is, let’s find the good. And here is where I’m going to tie it into pictures.

Let’s not only embrace the slow but let’s make photos to prove it.
