Oftentimes people ask me if they can book a newborn session and skip the maternity session. The answer, of course, is yes. However, I ALWAYS recommend doing both.

Maternity sessions are like the engagement sessions of the baby milestone. It’s there to support the newborn photos in a way that gives more context and tells a deeper, richer story.

When we hang out during your maternity pictures, we not only document that precious time in your life, we also get to know one another. Similar to an engagement session, we are able to connect before the hustle and bustle of the big day. The more I get to know your family, the better the pictures. Simple as that!
