My first beach session at golden gardens was with this sweet family right here. And I fell in love with taking family pictures at this gorgeous pnw beach.

You know I love a good story where a friend from my childhood hits me up for some family pictures. Well, here is yet another. I went to school with both of these fine folks and here I am photographing the beautiful family and life they’ve made together.

It’s just the best.

They met me at the beach for a beautiful sunlit fall afternoon of sand digging, rock throwing, dog snuggling fun. I love the gorgeous fall colors in the backdrop of the perfect northwest beach setting. The fall colors pop so nicely against the grey sand and blue water.

We closed out the night with sunset pictures on the beach. What a dreamy day.
