I just met this cute fam and took their photos at Swansons Nursery in Seattle while they snuggled their pups and picked out their Christmas tree!

It seems sometimes people get caught up in family photos being people with kids. It seems photos of couples are always engagement or wedding photos. But seriously.

A family can take many forms, my friends!!

I remember when Derek and I were first married, we waited a bit to have a kid. People would ask us “when are you planning to start a family?” And I was always caught off guard. Ummm, start?

We ARE a family!

So, yeah. I consider these family pictures! Of course, I do!
