Support the farms. 

You will hear me say time and time again that one of the most important things to me about my mini sessions at the farms is that we show our appreciation by supporting these wonderful, family-owned businesses. They are the kindest people who allow us to come year after year for family pictures. I want to give them a HUGE thank you by picking strawberries, making a bouquet of lavender, or grabbing a yummy coffee.

Swans Trail Farm and Lavender Valley Farm are BEAUTIFUL. And they are wonderful people! I always encourage my families to support the farm while visiting.

Please plan to actually pick strawberries, not just pretend to pick. This will accomplish a few things. You will have more authentic, real photos rather than posed, awkward ones. Your family will have delicious, locally grown strawberries to take home, enjoy, bake into a pie, etc. And you will support two local, family-owned businesses in one day!
